And here are some photos from that festival, including this one of Bon Iver which I was pretty pleased with!
(you’ll see what I mean when you see the others…)

Back to the Super Furry Animals though, here are the photos from the aforementioned gig, with more Holga craziness, this time in black and white.

This is what can happen when your Holga falls apart spontaneously and foam pads get wound into the roll of film. It’s kind of cool.
More here.

One of the results of my first roll of film, shot with my new old Minolta X-700.
Check out the rest, including a black and white roll.

Well despite turning up for work (unlike most people it seems!), everyone was sent home after blizzard conditions struck the valleys.

I finally got a copy of the October 2008 issue of Global Traveller magazine, in which I have a credit as a photographer (though you might need to view a larger size to see it).

The CameraBag iPhone app finally makes the iPhone’s camera viable.
You can get around the lack of quality by emulating film, and there are several styles available to choose from ranging from overblown, cross-processed-style colour to more understated sepia tones.
This one, taken while walking in Brighton, has been given a nice Holga-like effect.
This also allows me to indulge my desires to take some old film-looking photos without having to buy an old film camera (although I probably will at some point…)

A Christkindlmarkt stall at Rathausplatz, Vienna.
Just one of the (hopefully) wonderful things you will be able to find on my Flickr soon (there are some there already, but not this one yet, it’s a sneak preview).
Is it xmas yet?

An attempt at a tilt-shift style photoshop job, as aided by this tutorial.
Interesting effect, huh?
PS: Coincidentally, looking up tilt-shift on Google resulted in this image of the Musée d’Orsay, a Paris museum that I happened to visit less than a week ago. Crazy.

Wow, it’s been a long time since I posted anything here.
My apologies, I’ve been on holiday. Hopefully this picture of Paris will compensate (more here).
